So it's windy today.
My kids are super understanding of the situation. Why are you driving like tipping over? -Dylan The air blowed yours shirt up and I can see your squishy belly. -Avi Hurry! Hold on to Mom! The wind will never blow her down! -Dylan We had to load up and pick Chris up from school cuz he's sick. He's got a fever, so the nurse asked me to keep him home tomorrow as well. YAY FOR SLEEPING IN! That's all. For now. Bath Time.I finally found some energy to throw the babies in the tub to hopefully pry loose some of the weekend's festivities still clinging tightly to their every crevice.
Things overheard so far... ~I taked my clothes off and threw them on the floor. Now I'm naked and playing with my trucks.. ~Aaaa! I was just driving along following the rules and now I'm covered in bubbles! ~Dinosaur trucks can't hold sand in their head cuz they don't have hair. Confession time:
It's 10pm and I'm letting my toddlers eat Nestle strawberry milk powder right out of the container. With their fingers. My oldest son came out in his full sparring gear, and prodded the babies to 'take him down'. Dylan smacked him with a high kick, and at the same time Chris stepped back and tripped over a tiny chair and fell on his butt. Dyl instantly starts jumping up and down yelling I WIN! I WIN! Indeed. Here's the face of a winner. I guess I need to get off here and parent for awhile.
I'll try to be back. Earlier Avi announced that she was Dylan.
She looks innocent enough, right?
Lately if I tell her to do something, she hollers back..and I quote.. "What you say to me?" It's kind of hilarious. In that 'Let's ignore the sass and focus on the cute' kinda way. Dylan = "Hot Dog Corn"
VS. Avi = "Corn Hot Dog" This is how the buttons of a lid should be.
Always. No exceptions. Well when I get Zac and I drinks at Sonic they tend to push one of my buttons to distinguish which one is awesome (mine).. And I get it, but oh it hurts my brain. I have to push it back out. Not a huge deal, I know. Shush. This is important story background! Today was no exception. Only when I went to take my first drink I was driving and getting ready to turn. And I had a moment of panic and dread and thought Crap, I won't have a chance to fix the lid until later... and .... ..it just popped up on it's own. Perfect timing. I am pretty sure I did it with my mind. I wanted it THAT bad. |
