*whispers* I not whispering.
Do you have secrets?
*whispers* I not have secrets.
Do you have a boyfriend?
*whispers* No, I have poop.
My ding dongs make me giggle on a regular basis. I hope they make you smile too!
Avi, Why are you whispering?
*whispers* I not whispering. Do you have secrets? *whispers* I not have secrets. Do you have a boyfriend? *whispers* No, I have poop.

Dylan constantly licks me, and other people, and things, and everything.
It started out as just one lick here and there.. Now it's full on repetitive excited puppy type licking. It's sorta disturbing. All my kids are lickers, but he's the first one to do it with such intensity? Avi: *tries to get on my lap* Me: No, not until you throw your trash away. Avi: No throw my trash away. Me: When you do, we can get ready to go outside. Avi: No get ready to go outside. Me: Okay, we'll just stay in the house. Avi: No stay in the house. Dylan: I not get dressed and go outside and stay in the house. Me: So throw the bag away, and let's change butts and go outside. Dylan: No change my butt. Avi is stinky. Avi: My not stink Dilly. You change your butt. Both: *run to dad's chair and climb up and over the back* Me: Why? Both: *stare at me and giggle weirdly* Me: ...... Avi: *tilts her head* I'm a kitty. Meow! Dylan: *yells* I'M A PUPPY TOO! WUF! Both: *laugh like crazy* Me: .. So no playing in the sand today? Avi: *points her finger at me and sternly says* The. Sand. Is. Gone. *laughs* I'm glad I started writing that down. Now you can take a glympse into why I never understand what the hell is going on around here! Things I find hilarious..
Things my toddlers find hilarious..
That's all I have for this morning, folks. I'm going to take a nap now that Chris is off to school! Big BowssOh yes, Holly. Apparently it was destined to happen. She came out of Grama's back room with this. Adorable? Perhaps. Still cringe worthy though. I will have to go back and fill in some old posts, and add pictures and whatever. So stay tuned? You've missed a lot. I mean they were tiny. Then they weren't. Now they're crazy little tyrants. Adorable, sassy, smart, entertaining, hilariousness all wrapped up in a toddler sized packages. They're kids. But they're always going to be called "The Babies". I'm pretty sure. My other kids are larger versions of the above. One's sort of adultish, and the other is pushing preteenness. It's all scary. So, so scary. Also, we have new puppies. My faithful shadow, Kayla, died on Christmas. She's missed horribly (by me) .. and a part of my heart is gone with her. But I'm settling into a new normal with these sweethearts. Meet Jupiter and Korah.. Korah is the little silver one. She got her name when Zac somehow let her roll off his lap.
Just like he did with the Human Korah*. *Side Note, I will now refer to the human Korah as The Human Korah. Because, funny! So the babies have like 5 minutes of freedom while i tuck Chris in on school nights.. This week Avi got into the clothes he had set out for the next day, and i found her wearing his underwear when i got back to the room..
The next night she had his electronic whatever, and he was reading his book when i came back.. ok. we are going to try to post a blog by talking. tomorrow there's a late start at school and they really want me to know about it apparently because I've gotten a text message a phone call with the voice mail at least two emails and I guess that's all but that seems like a little bit of an overkill but I suppose they do know people like me who need reminded constantly and I'll still probably forget. there probably won't be any punctuation really in this entry because its annoying to have to say it out that. I'm pretty surprised that is not picking up the babies because they are being really loud.
I am a little tired of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse today I don't really know why its on my nerves today because I watch it all the time but today is just not cool so I think we're going to switch over to Olivia pretty soon. so far today I have done nothing other than eat a jar of pickles and take care of babies. Nope this isn't going to work either because my rambling out loud annoys me. plus talking to my phone while tandem nursing just feels more awkward than you'd think. laters. These monkeys are upset with me. I don't know why. I've let them do so much this afternoon that I bet no other babies got to do. I'd like to point out that all of these things were highly supervised, and no babies were harmed in the making of this list?
But on an awesome note, she has started saying "mama" and it's adorable. Oh, and Chris got a kitten yesterday. She's 9 weeks old, and her birthday is 5-5-15. Stevie Mojang Breeden. She is a sweetheart. A rotten sweetheart. Just like the rest of the munchkins here.
It's telling me that "lickers" isn't a word. I disagree. I use it all the time. So I dressed the babies alike the other day. Yesterday, perhaps. I don't even know what today is. I really thought it was Wednesday. Is it Wednesday? No, It's Thursday. I just checked. I even tossed around the idea that it was Friday for awhile because my parents were up so late. Well, up so late without being in pajamas. Crap, I forgot to put the rest of my pjs on. I'm going to have to go back upstairs. Poo. Anyway, they were dressed in red M&M onesies. Much adorable.. I don't dress them the same very often. They're totally different, so the novelty factor just isn't the same as it would be if they weren't. But rarely I get a wild wind blow through, and I amuse myself by making them match. I took a couple pictures because I was planning to write yesterday, but they got clingy about the time I had motivation to... and it didn't happen. But here's some highlights from yesterday. Or whatever day these pictures happened on. They decided bedding needed to be stripped off mattresses. And at some point all the pillows and toys needed to be off the appointed "baby zone" indicated by a big ugly flowered blanket. Avi spent a crazy amount of time and effort making her way off the blanket. Repeatedly. To lick the concrete floor. My oldest has My Little Pony hair now. Her and her bff managed to dye 2 bathtubs, a bowl, a sink and a dining room floor in the process. So hair adventures will have to happen at other locations now since they don't clean up the aftermath. Anyway, it's a fun head to look at. Speaking of fun heads.. Chris let Rebecca spray his for the BBQ. ...Must sleep now
The other baby is laying on the floor watching a Dish commercial. Holding his feet, and talking to himself. Sometimes holding himself, and talking to his feet.
I want a baby! ..I said.. It'll be fun! ..I said.. and you know what? I was right! Also, I highly recommend having babies in pairs. They're slacking in their obnoxious-neediness tonight though.. I have been on my computer for nearly 20 minutes without them voicing their objections that I'm not giving them my full attention. They are staring at me a lot though, and I was going to insert a picture of them doing this.. but happy-fun-not-holding-a-baby time is over, and I don't know when I'll be back. Okay, it's been 2 hours. They've been asleep for.. 12 minutes (and 35 minutes) .. and I'm tired, and realize I have nothing on my brain to write anymore. Which is why I haven't blogged in.. well a year. Over a year even. Ooops. But while I wait to see if they're going to immediately wake back up (Brenna is down here and they like to mess with her.. so I'm sure they're dreaming of ways to obtain access to her buttons.. or glasses.. or necklace..) ... I forgot what I was saying, but here's the picture of them when they were staring at me earlier? Mommy.. We seeeeee you... Once you make eye contact we're going to cry until you pick us up.. It's what we do........ I dare ya, look into my eyes! For real, they're usually fine unless they see me looking at them. Here's the other one I took. He's leaning back, spinning in circles, and she's laughing at him.
Because .. well, my kids are weird. I will be going back in time and filling in some days I remember.. Adding 9209384 pictures, and what stories I can think of.. but for tonight, this is it folks. Because baby #1 (of the night) is up already. |
