How about carrying TWO of them?
What's more challenging than carrying one of Zac's giant babies in my body?
How about carrying TWO of them?

I was getting Chris out of bed this morning..
"Mom, will you carry me all the way to the chair today? Oh wait.." *starts shooing me back* "What?" "Well I don't want a baby that's bolted in half when it gets here!" So tonight I was at mom's doing laundry, and I hear her say from the kitchen..
"Hmm, I wonder why grampa is laying on the ground.. He must be working on something.." Which prompted quite a lengthy discussion on what things he could be fixing. "I don't see any tools. He must be in the planning stage.." "Probably something needs adjusted on the scooter.." ETC. He came in maybe an hour later, and was gimping around to his chair. We didn't think much of it cuz he always hurts at the end of the day. And then he mentioned the seat on the scooter broke. "Oh so that's what you were looking at.." Nope. He had fallen off it and couldn't get up. And we had stood around in the kitchen looking at him through the window talking about what he could be doing. Hehe. We are a loving family like that? Of course we felt bad, but there was a lot of laughing and reciting things like "Well I don't see any tools.." and "Maybe you shouldn't be hot rodding around the yard.." In our defense, Chris was out there and dad didn't send him for help. Had to be there. But SO FUNNY! Chris figured out how to ride his bike. Proudness. We officially found out yesterday that I'm pregnant. So far just a lot of puking for the last couple weeks, and tonight I peed myself while getting out of my chair. I didn't even know I had to go, so it was a fun surprise? Yep it's going to be a long 9 months. Chris wants me to let everyone know he knows "Pikachu Language". And we both think it's pretty hilarious that while he was getting dressed for bed he took Brenna's dollar and stuck it in his butt crack. Shhh. Don't tell. Me: "What did you see at the museum with grama and uncle John?"
Chris: "A naked statue." Yep, quality family time. Me: Hey Chris, what do you do when someone is taking your picture?
Chris: Smile and don't pick my nose. Chris was at grama's all evening. He just got home.
Me: I'll start your bath in a couple minutes. Chris: How do you know I didn't already take one? Me: Well, did you? Chris: What do you think? (I'm skeptical..) Me: That depends. Will you let me smell your head? Chris: *looks me dead in the eyes* Yes, go ahead. (Well maybe he did take one after all) Me: *sniffs* It doesn't smell like shampoo. Chris: That doesn't mean I didn't take a shower. Me: It means you didn't wash your hair, so you still have to take one here. Chris: But you don't know for sure that I didn't take one already. Would you like to smell my butt and feet? Me: No. A thousand times, NO. You know I could just call grama and ask her. Chris: Okay, do that. (Maybe he knows I really don't want to talk on the phone, and is calling my bluff?) *goes to start bath water* DAMNIT! Hot water pipes are frozen. Again. So.. No bath tonight. Sigh. Me: So did you really take a bath tonight at grama's? Chris: Maaaybe. *big smile* Best quote of the week.. (so far)
"Don't worry, the thing didn't snap. Except the thing, it snapped." ~Chris Chris: "Hey Chassidy, wanna help me organize the pantry?"
..and she did.. ..so they are.. "WOW! Look at all these noodles!" I've learned a lot about my son this week.
His ultimate career goal is to be a server at Little Mexico. He is going to form a band with Austin and Kemper, and it will be called "Magical Plumbers". And I guess I forgot the third thing, but trust me it was epic. I'm back cuz I remembered the last thing. When he's a grown up he will get a yellow cat and name it Pikachu. Chris sleeps late on Sundays, so I guess he doesn't really need as much sleep Sunday night.. Which leads him to be up and going BEFORE the asscrack of dawn on Mondays. This morning I came out at 6am, and he was watching Dexter's Laboratory, eating crackers and drinking a Fanta. I actually love it when I don't have fight with him all morning to stay awake and get ready. We played UNO for an hour, and then I sent him out to the bus. Fun times.
I'm trying to rev myself up for another busy week. As always there's the ton of cleaning I will avoid. Plus all the running around and killing time in town every evening. I better get started.. by taking a nap! |
